Whether we know it or not and whether we like it or not we're all part of a big financial game and it is up to us to figure out the rules because no one else is going to tell us!
If you're like most people that have thought about owning a business and done some research I'm sure by now you're probably confused by all the information available on how to get started.
It seems as if everywhere you look you can find advice on whether or not you should incorporate, what business name you should choose, where the best location to operate out of might be and how to write a business plan. There's so much to read and so much to "know" it's enough to make your head spin in confusion and want to quit before you ever start!
Even with all this information there are few if any sources that will show you how to actually get going and making money, which is all that really counts if you're looking to supplement your income or eventually replace your job.
There are millions of websites and articles written on just about everything you can think of relating to starting a business, even many that offer unrealistic ideas that may sound good in theory but would be extremely difficult to profit from long term because of how small the marketplace could be assuming it exists at all.
Why is this so?
Almost none of the informational sources offer any no real direction on where and how to get started because it's mostly hypothetical and written by journalists that have read and compiled information from other sources instead of people actually in business and on the front lines of capitalism.
Also, many of the articles and web pages are filled with "formatted key words" to get better search engine rankings, so their intention is to be found for advertising and click through's and not really to give us useful information to get into business.
Not to say the ideas provided don't work or can't make you money, I've just never heard of anyone supporting their family or making a decent living as a collectibles searcher, Internet researcher, pet sitter or Golf Club cleaner. While you may be able to generate some income performing these services you'd more likely than not use it all advertising to find your extremely tight niched customers.
Even books and tapes can do only so much to help you get started or grow because the information could be too hypothetical or just too difficult to understand and put to use. The most frustrating part is that you have no one to turn to when you have questions and need assistance making the ideas work.
Trying to start a business in this way is like trying to parachute or perform surgery after reading books or listening to tapes.
It just doesn't work without having help and support!
After being in business over 9 years growing my own businesses and working with people on an individual basis, I felt a compelling call to be of greater service in life and realized it was time for me to do more for others and serve a much higher purpose.
Why?
Because I discovered long ago that "the system" wasn't set up for the majority to win, it's set up to get us deeply in debt, drain us of all we have and keep us working harder and harder so we never reach financial freedom. Unfortunately the majority are unaware of this fact causing them to almost always fall victim to it.
Why would I reveal all the secrets that cost me over a $1 million dollars and 10 years to learn and figure out?
Over all my years in business I met so many great people that were frustrated with their jobs and tired of building someone else's dream. Many of them were ready to start a business of their own to secure their future but didn't know where to start.
Aside from not having the foggiest idea of where to start, many had mortgages to pay and families to support and thought they couldn't start a business without risking what they had. Whenever I met these people I always did my best to give them simple ideas to get them started and tell the story of how I got into business to encourage them. (See Breaking into Business)
Even with the help I would offer the few I came across I knew it still wasn't enough because so many others were in the same position and didn't have the time, the resources or the know how to do anything about it.
Realizing this brought me to a life defining moment of truth - I knew what I had to do!
At that instant I decided to take all the experience & knowledge I had accumulated and use it to create an education system with classes and hands on workshops in a supportive environment to help more people in quickly starting, launching, and safely getting their own businesses off the ground.
If you're like most people I know you probably would enjoy the time freedom, money freedom, personal freedom and all the independence a business of your own could bring you. I know how hard you work and that you deserve to have all your time and efforts contributing to your own future instead of someone else's.

Of course you do, because that is what almost all of us want on some level. Which is why I insist on passing on the knowledge I've accumulated to help you in getting started or growing your own thriving business.
Why do so few people start their own businesses?
For most of us we can see new businesses, malls and shopping centers going up all around us, but don't know where to begin so we can cash in on a business of our own. Owning a business is the American dream, yet so few (less than 5%) will ever live that dream.
Does it have to be this way?
Of course not, the fact is that anyone is free to start a business. It's just that most of us have never been taught "how" to own a business or even get one started. This lack of knowledge can often leave many of us feeling a bit apprehensive towards getting into business for ourselves.
Many people even falsely believe they don't have the money, they need special education, they need a "good idea", that it takes a special type of person to be in business or that having a job creates security.
The fact is that the only security we ever have is the security we create for ourselves and our families. Otherwise we can be like a little sailboat that gets storm tossed with industry or market conditions our whole lives.
History has repeatedly taught us that it only takes one bad person or decision to ruin an entire organization regardless of how large and profitable it may be. One of the most recent and popular was Enron in the early 2000's, which not only fell apart itself but also caused the entire area around it to fall apart because of the domino effect it had on the surrounding businesses and community that thrived on it.
Being in business for yourself, even if it is only part time, gives you the control, flexibility and security of either supplementing your current income or building a growing and thriving business that can carry on for generations.
What most people don't realize is that getting into business is really about filling a need and solving problems. How many problems do you see in this world? If you look at it that way the opportunities are endless and everywhere. The key is that we must find the opportunities that are right for us and have the right knowledge to capitalize on them.
For the most part starting a business isn't difficult at all, we've only been conditioned to believe it's difficult. Business is just as much of an inside job (our beliefs about business) as it is an outside job (having the correct knowledge to start and operate a business).
This is true because many of us have learned misinformation, heard horror stories and taken on many non-supportive beliefs or fears that stop us from even trying to get started. Simply stated, we hear a story and dread or even imagine ourselves in that horrible position - maybe even losing everything we've worked for our whole lives.
In our workshops we not only teach you how to succeed in the outside world with proven effective strategies and tactic that will never risk what you have already, but we also teach you how to identify and overcome the false beliefs in our inside world (minds) to help you achieve more personal freedom.
Whether we know it or not, many of these belief we have and may not even be aware of. Even so they can and usually do unconsciously stop us from pursuing what we desire in life or make us feel unworthy of having what we truly deserve.
The fact is that you deserve the best and so does your family!

Chances are that you're already working hard in your current job or occupation, so doesn't it make sense to have your valuable time and efforts count towards your own future instead of someone else's?
I think Benjamin Franklin answered that question best when he was quoted for saying: "Do you love life? Then do not squander time for that is the stuff life is made of."

When you have your own business it's up to you because you take control of your financial future. You decide when you work, how much you work, who you work with and how to spend your own time.
In addition to giving you the ability take control of your financial future, it also gives you the ability to take complete control of your your life, and having that kind of personal freedom is absolutely priceless!
In my own personal experience, owning businesses has allowed me to have a level of freedom most people will never know, which to me is much more important than just having money. It also gives me the security of knowing I'm in charge of my own destiny and the flexibility of earning whatever amount I desire to support the lifestyle I want.
Money may not be everything, but it sure does help you attain a priceless level of freedom!
